On the other hand, as a part of these changes, we are closing our Dimes bingo room for some time… correct, only temporarily; this is not something definite, as we know most of you enjoy this room and it offers more variety in our bingo “menu”. However, we do think that some changes in there are definitely a must. So, one room is taking over the other, which means that we will go back to how we were in the past, two rooms featured 24/7 and our free bingo room for those looking to chill and just have fun.

Also, the City bingo room is not going to be closed forever; just us some time to perform the changes we are planning and soon you will see how good this is going to get!

We didn’t do it right away as we were waiting for you guys to post your thoughts on this. We think we could still get some more feedback from you, but no worries; as per the comments we’ve received here so far, we can see that you do support this bingo jackpot match up promo!!

The jackpot that was hit right after this post was of $4,573.68 in total and the time was: 2/28/2010, 5:20:15 pm.

So, what we are going to do is leave you a space to propose your fellow bingo nominees to the jackpot first. You will have time to do this until March 14th.

After that, we will count the nominations and post the 2 Vics-Bingo members who got the most nominations as the candidates to get the jackpot; we will need you guys to vote for them, in order to determine which one gets it. This info will be posted on our online bingo blog on March 15th and you will have time until the 17th to submit your votes in the new post we will include for this very purpose.

The final winner will be announced on March 18th in a comment of the final post where the 2 final Vics-Bingo candidates were proposed.

How are we going to do that?

Well, it’s very simple. Once the next progressive jackpot gets hit in our Quarters bingo room, we will match the total prize in CASH as a unique reward that will be credited to one member only, the Vics member you guys choose!

How will it work?

Once a jackpot of $2,000 or more is hit, we will start a post in this online bingo blog indicating the amount won and giving you instructions on how to vote in order to select the Vics-Bingo member you want to take this home. As usual, we will give you a time frame during which you can vote and obviously the member who gets the most votes will be the winner of this bingo jackpot match up!

Now, don’t get us wrong, this was a final decision on our end, but we are interested in hearing your opinion about this… I mean, we have questions… do you think this is fair? Do you think this is what we should do, in order to increase your chances of winning a bingo jackpot? Do you have any other suggestions that we could take into consideration?

Like I said, Vics-bingo is opening this blog to share it with the whole bingo community and for you as our valued online bingo players to share with us, so, please share you thoughts on this!

At Vics Bingo we use bingo software to create bingo games, edit them and put them live for you to play them; that’s our function as a bingo operator; we choose the basic characteristics of bingo games such as patterns and calls in the PJP which are aspects that are visible to all of you; this is the transparency of our operations.

We cannot choose who wins or who doesn’t, that is a matter of luck! Just as in any other bingo hall, all cards are offered before the game starts and only 1 has the complete combination of correct numbers to win the final prize. The process of determining the winning combination is already engineered in a platform that is given to us to run the games; we do not have access to this nor do we know how it works.

It then depends on you to make the right choice and get the correct cards to win the game. The more cards you buy, the higher the chances of having a winning combination, as your probabilities increase; so maxing out bingo games will definitely give you bigger chances at winning the game. This is why sometimes you see pots split between two or more players, because of the way cards are dealt; two or more players may have the winning combination in their respective cards. Large amount of cards in play increase the chances of this happening as well.

Due to your recent inquires as to why you are not winning, is why we decided to share this information with all of you; we can’t recall any other bingo online community that has given this much information, but if there was, they were definitely trying to put everything as clear as possible with their members, just as we are doing now.
